Year 12 English Literacy Students in South Australia will be amongst the first in the nation to conduct their end of year school exams online, using SoNET Systems Assessment MasterTM – a large scale online platform that represents a new standard in 21st century electronic examinations.
Assessment MasterTM has already successfully been used by national and international Governments, OECD, IEA, Universities, and commercial enterprises. This will be the first time in Australia that an online system will be used for high-stakes matriculation testing in secondary schools.
A move towards electronic examinations is part of the SACE Board’s efforts to modernise student education so that it better reflects the way in which students are currently learning.
